Topic: Not enough storage on SD card

I tried to download Ace attourney: Spirit of Justice on my 3ds, but it says I needed 4,000 more blocks to download it. The two other games that I downloaded are PW:AA: Dual Destinies and Ace Attourney original Trilogy. I swapped the 2 gigabyte SD card to a 16 GB. I tried to download Spirit of justice and it says the same thing. I did not add anything to this 16GB card. What can I do to increase the storage?

@Kobi05 Hi, welcome to the forums.

It may need formatting to an optimal file structure - FAT32 iirc (look up a 3DS SD card formatting guide).

If it's already been formatted correctly then it sounds like you may have been duped with the card. Did you buy it from a reputable source?

Plug it into something else (e.g. a PC) and check what capacity it's reported as.

The card was in a camera bag so I don't really know where it came from. It's a micro SD HC class 16gigabyte, in an adapter. There's nothing on the card except for PW AA Dual Destinies and AA Trilogy. The card that came in my 3ds is.a 2 gigabyte.I forgot to put that in my original comment .@gcunit
