Do animals ever die in this game?

Just went on a walk and the text at the start said "Planning on stopping somewhere during this walk?" So I stopped in at Barc, and OMIGOSH MARIO KART RC CARS.

I bought the Yoshi kart. It's pretty cute. Hard to steer and make it go where you want, but it's fun to play with anyway. When it's far away in the room you can't tell which direction it's facing, and then the dog and cat chase it, so I just drive it at full throttle.

How many trainer points do you need to unlock it, Victoria? I've been caught up in pokemon games so I haven't been able to play Nintendogs as much....although I do play it for at least a few minutes a day.

@Victoria Do you know which path you bought the Kart on? I read that the rc karts are only available in a certain shop, but it didn't say which path it was on!. Also if you hit the X or Y button you can change to a first person view. Well you can do that with the Helicopters at least.

I forgot which of the shops has the karts for sale. So I'll pay attention next time I see it. And I don't know how many owner points you need, sorry. I found it for sale several days ago.

Am I still the only one who's Mii doesn't look happy? It's really bugging me. I can't for the life of me figure out why she looks sad, while my normal Mii doesn't. Out of all the Miis I have on my 3DS, 3 of my Miis look sad in the game. I even made another Mii that looks like my main Mii, and she looks sad as soon as I try to use her in nintendogs.

I selected "change mii" and your mii was there, and she looked sad!

So, it is your mii, which when compressed to avatar size, looks sad.

i had 5000 trainer points when i could finally buy the karts. i think it was in the barc shop at the road in the hills. dont kow how that part of the game is called in the english versions. only have the german.

They never grow. It's in the instruction manual. They stay babies forever, and that's the charm of the series. :3

OK..... I have another queston. How do people unlock new furniture or a mario room or new food, stuff like that?

Everyone seems to say it has to do with trainer points. Have X amount, this becomes available. But everyone seems to say the Mario karts are unlocked at around 5000 or 6000 trainer points, and I'm only at 2600. So I don't think trainer points are the real indicator.
