Hello. I recently got Pokemon alpha shappire
I beat the game. However today when I put in the slot it doesn't work. I try blowing, cleaning both the slot and the game and still nothing. It won't even show its icon on the screen or show that its been instereted.
So I called Nintendo and they told me it will be up for repair. My question is tho. For those who has the repair done. Do they replace it or can they restore the file? Or save data?

@Hinaru77: I've never had a cartridge-based game malfunction before, but perhaps you could try swabbing the contacts with ribbing alcohol, leaving it to completely dry, and then pushing the game in/out of the system a few times (just in-case its a minor amount of corrosion).

i've been having problems with certain game cartridges not showing up on my daughter's 2DS. Also the contact points aren't dirty at all. It makes me mad because it means I have to repair a third system. So I was thinking that I'd just buy her the 20th Pokemon Anniversary New 3DS. It's a real trial and error for me because sometimes I can get the game card to work and other times it doesn't. I've never had this problem with DS games and systems.

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
