So my parents are in Japan and they’re buying me the New Nintendo 2DS XL, and they didn't see one yet, bet they saw the New Nintendo 2DS LL, So what's the difference between those two? are the the same thing?

LL is Large Large, Japan ONLY.
XL is Extra Large, USA and PAL ONLY.
If your parents are in Japan, your New 2DS will be Japanese version with LL instead XL.
Remember, 3DS still Region Lock.
Think 3DS games that you want to play.
Are they Japan or USA version ?
