Topic: Moon Chronicles

Moon Chronicles season 1, from Renegade Kid, is remake of Moon from Nintendo DS built from the ground up for the 3DS. The game will run in 60fps even with the 3D on and supports the Circle Pad Pro. Moon Chronicles features Episode 1 with the price of $8.99 and Episodes 2-4 as DLC for $1.99 each. It will release this spring (March/April). Season 2, next year most likely, promise to feature an original continuing story.

Very excited. Day one buy for me. Check out the Moon DS review from Nintendo Life here. They gave the original an 8/10. What will the 3DS version get?

I am excited for Moon Chronicles but I already have Moon on my DS... do I need to buy Season 1 to have access to season 2? or will it be more like the Walking Dead, Season 1 isn't required but it enhances it.

I just finished playing through Moon on my DS. I think I'll pass on a remake, even if it's in 3D. But it was a fun game!

It looks and sounds incredibly promising! Can't wait to play it! And I just realised that it'll be my first FPS game in over a year!

Depends on how Nintendo's rshop service works but you shouldn't need it. Mind you Season 2 won't start till next year.

Either way I will probably get it lol. I wonder if they can get the rights for dementium and do a similar thing. Forst two Seasons could be remakes then new future Seasons... that would be awesome

I might get it? Even if it was a DS FPS and isn't great first person shooting, it seems like it avoids the things I find boring in a lot of modern FPS, which helps. Also, I'm glad to see more episodic gaming.

I always held off buying Moon on DS but now I'm glad I did. I'll definitely pick this one up.

Not sure if getting the rights to Dementuim is in the cards. It's one of the reasons why Renegade Kidd is making Cult County.

I hope we get some gameplay of the controls soon. The aiming seems like it could get Kid Icarus levels of cumbersome .

Pretty much sums up my feelings. Also I like the episode thing because I can pay as little or much as I like.

Can't wait for this. Was playing Dementium 2 DS this weekend. So awesome, even playing it on my 3DS. I think Cult County may be what Dementium is. Here's hoping we get both those games very soon. Sooner than later at least.

Just finished Moon DS and as a 1st person shooter for a last gen handheld, it's an amazingly solid and atmospheric title!
A re-make is welcome however I'm hoping for a re-imaging. It's understandable due to the limitations of the hardware but the level design was non-existent (felt like a tech demo) and it could do with afew more enemy models.

That aside, a spruced-up original followed by an expanded sequel? Yes please!
