Gravios (eeeehhh), NERSCYLLA, and new arts for every weapon. Here's descriptions:
GS: Gets this crazy jumping crescent moon slash (similar to an art from Online)
SnS: Consumes all oils at once
LS: Huge Damage Buff, Health Drains and gets replenished while you are agressively attacking the monster
DB: Lunging/leap spin attack
HH: Can play songs while evading
IG: Increases kinesect mobility, but ups their stamina loss as well
Lance: AOE heal while guarding for duration
Bow: Backward evade where you can fire arrows
GL: Fire all shells above you -> big wyvern fire type explosion.
LBG: Fires all lvl1 shots in a sigular, compressed shot
SA: Increases Axe mode speed and adds more moves! (HOLY)
CB: A shield attack that charges your phials instantly (no phial reload animation/etc)
HBG: Really strong slicing shot.
So, sounds like LS and SA are still king of the Arts (that SA one HAS to have been made with feedback in mind) and IG's arts still aren't that great. That HH one sounds nice, at least.
Also, Deviant Malfestio can also steal items on top of turning invisible.
GS: alright. Nice to have a semi-quick attack art that doesn't launch people (hopefully)
SnS: Sounds OP on paper, but white oil is really situational and so is destroyer to a degree. Still good, but will probably take quite some time to charge.
LS: Super Brave mode. Not much else to say. For true experts only
DB: middle ground between long Blood Wind and quick but ledge-requiring Aerial Slam
HH: awesome. Being able to play without needing a big opening is a good new trend with HH additions
IG: kind of lame... most people already raise kinsects to have great mobility on their own
Lance: Unless the range of healing is big, locking yourself in place to block is dumb. Stick to Oasis
GL: it's official: Gunlances are the blademaster kings of anti-air
Bow: kind of a Bullet Geyser ripoff... semi-useful for pierce (needing distance)
LBG: a bit confused. How can a shot be normal, pierce and pellet at the same time?
SA: MUCH AWAITED. I got sick of Swaxe thanks to spamming sword, this should hopefully provide diversity
CB: a neat trick that can complement Energy Blade or ultra burst well. If it stacks with Load Up even better
HBG: somewhat a rip-off of Blade Wire, but it's nice for gunners wanting tails at least.
No Hammer art found?
Gravios seemed destined to return with FU Volcano, can't wait for the inevitable mixes with rocky Uragaan and laser-firing Agnaktor (Aerial's gonna mess him up so hard, though).
So deviant Malfestio basically spent time as a disciple of Chameleos the sorceror... gotcha.
And I'm equally stoked for Nerscylla's return. I get the feeling it was because there weren't enough vertically inclined areas for it (mainly just Primal Forest), perhaps a sign for yet more areas?
@meleebrawler The write-up I saw missed it. It seems that the Hammer HA increases the damage of charge attacks and give them an AOE effect (upswinging people wasn't enough, it seems).
And I hope the SA art is good, because calling it a Switch Axe is basically a lie right now.

@CrazedCavalier Doesn't the superpound (normal standing level 3) already have an AOE? And I wonder if this art also affects the special charge attacks from Adept and Brave.

The official site has images of all the arts and updated weapon renders. Featuring the Fated Four Deviant sets, the Deviant Diablos set, the Valfak set, and Lao Shan Lung set. You also get to see the Barioth set (it's the low/high rank design instead of the G-rank one) and G-rank Astalos set (which looks absolutely killer).

@Tsurii Just seemed a bit odd for a vertically-inclined monster to be in a flat marsh... then again, I've always felt it was more dangerous when it was grounded only XD. Still, it seemed like Shrouded Nerscylla was designed to be the grounded one (that digs).
I am referring to the low/high rank female gunner set we have now in Generations. The other sets, including G are nice, but a bit generic. Female gunner, on the other hand, has a face and design that helps it stand out (the face is present on female blademaster as well, but you don't get the eye). It's actually a bit creepy-looking, too, but that just adds to the charm.
@Tsurii It's not that I'm obsessed with subspecies, it's just the monsters didn't change at all from low to high rank. I feel like it'll happen here with high to G rank. :/

Keep it PG-13-ish.
There are certainly monsters with moveset changes from low to high. Maccao's faster double pounce, Bulldrome's crazy u-turn run, Chameleos's sludge bomb, Hermitaur's walking water gun, Tetsucabra's rock throw, Zinogre's charged thunder punches... and on the flipside, there are quite a few monsters that don't actually get new moves from high to G either (not including subspecies introduced at that rank).
@CrazedCavalier What makes it even more effective is that, if you ignore the face, your hunter boasts a glowing set of "hair" and a short, pretty dress, almost cute, even. These features serve to make the face all the more unsettling in comparison. And this dissonance evens lines up with the in-game description for Astalos:
"In its charged state, the membrane in its wings take on a beautiful glow that only barely offsets the terrible nature of this monster."
Imagine, you approach this woman in the eye-catching, neon dress... only to be greeted by a gaze that lives only for violence and suffering of others.
@Tsurii ...Really? Deviants are very easily ignored unless you're a completion nut. Don't like it's stuff/fighting it/grinding it? Ignore it, it won't have any impact on your progression (except maybe Garcho- er, Massacre Demon Diablos).
For the record I do share some of your Shogun frustration. But if Deadeye Garuga is any indication, chances are the irritating parts (mostly repeated claw swipes) will be toned.
@Joeynator3000 Wouldn't surprise me, considering the deviant sets for the other two 3rd gen Fanged Beasts each more or less represent a style (Brave for Redhelm, Aerial for Snowbaron). A deviant Volvidon would likely be made for Alchemy (especially considering beating it unlocks Vase of Vitality for Palicoes), even though I don't exactly know what skills would go well with that... maybe Composed, Bio Master, Wide-Range+2?
Likewise, I foresee the deviant Shogun set being somewhat a counterpart to Stonefist, in the sense of having a fated four skill complemented by others. It'll likely have Heavy Polish, maybe Mind's Eye alongside the usual Critical Eye+ and the obscure Item Duration Up to make the polishing last longer.
Of course, there could also be totally brand-new skills instead.
