This is probably TOO specific, but does anyone have a double-Kirin guild quest with a weapon bias of lance, longsword, or dual blades? I've been doing expeditions without any luck so far, though I do have a double-Garuga quest for offer.

NOW I'm equipped to finish out high rank. Couple more hard armor spheres to max out defense and I'll be A-OK. Well, now that that's taken care of, I'm down to hunt whatever.
@MorphMarron That was my first time hunting with a Horn player. Those buffs are pretty sweet. I think I might try the horn out for a bit.
And wait until I get a horn with stronger notes!
I totally recommend it, it's (pretty clearly) my favorite weapon. The variety in notes and buffs also means I can have one for every occasion.
If you want to use it, I'd recommend getting some musician jewels to double the duration of the effects. They take some low rank narajala materials to create.
Horn was my sub-main in MH3U. I try to diversify and master several weapon types. This time I decided to main insect glaive (who could resist the appeal of easy mounting and Kinsect buffs) but I've still been crafting some long swords and hunting horns as backup. Right now I need to upgrade the Valkery Chordmaker, but I need a Rathian plate and have had zero luck getting one for some reason. I was eyeing up another horn though- Shell Castanet, because it starts with blue sharpness and has Attack Up (L), Defense Boost (L), Health Boost (L) and Wind Pressure Negated. I LOVE Attack Up horns. And Negate Stamina, and I know other players appreciate it as well.
Honestly I just went with Hermitaur's and Tetsu's the moment I got in high rank. They work pretty well so far, but they're both weak to thunder, so...yeah. >.>

@Tech What's your weapon of choice? Do you use different weapons or just stick with one?
I Use mainly the Great Sword. It works great for cutting tails and reaching otherwise those hard to reach areas of the monsters. I sub duel swords and with the right set ups those can be deadly. I try not to expand beyond that only because I don't want to learn too many different weapons all at once. Others I know how to use well are hammers and Long swords. Each has an advantage depending on what you need from a monster.
I'm strictly a Dual Blade-r but I 've been thinking about brancing out.
Not yet, but I'm thinking of going online with another hunter or two and record the Emerald Congalala quest...because I dunno. lol
But yeah, listening to Smash music first, I'll post when I'm ready. xp
