@ Chrono Cross - That's what I meant. Monster Hunter Tri Portable, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Same difference
@ Comic - It's not about this or that system being better. It's about Capcom's history with series. They have never released the same game on different systems (outside of PC version). The only reason they are releasing it on the PS3 is because Sony is going to start re-releasing a slew of PSP games in HD on the PS3. Monster Hunter is just along for the ride.
Unfortunately.....it's on the PS3. = They are putting Monster Hunter Tri portable on the PS3 with 3D capability. To me this spells the death of a 3DS version....until possibly Monster Hunter 4 anyway.
Well, I'm going back to believing that Capcom is pretty much ditching Nintendo with MH after Tri. >_>
Capcom is bringing out some big games for the 3DS despite this smaller userbase. Nintendo is also directly publishing and promoting Capcom here in the EU whereas Capcom is complaining about how much money "millions of dollars of revenue" they are losing in the PSN downtime. Capcom have also expressed that this may delay developments on the Sony systems in the meantime. While all this is happening I cant see why they wouldnt release it on the 3DS but games take time to develop and they will also be waiting for some of the SSF and RE revenue to start rolling in.

Still hoping for MH3DS.. there's nothing wrong with hoping but If they don't plan on bringing it out on the 3ds then that just means more money to spend on games produced by competitors
3DS nickname is Kenzie my code is 2191 7676 4657 monster hunter tri fella named Glade HR60+
I really dont want another Tri on the 3DS, if they do that then capcom needs to add an extra 40 monster (old or new i dont care) and color variations of the monsters, new weapons and armor, and weekly added quests for online. other than that theres potential for a MH game on the 3DS. and people need to stop complaining about how crappy the camera controls will be, they weren't to bad on the psp, you just had to play with your index finger on the control pad above the analogue stick, so really any thing is better than that and i think that the touch screen would be a great alternative. but im sure what ever capcom comes up with will be fine. and besides you could always use the L and R buttons for moving the camera

@Zephren: Hey! I love how you make all those arguments from months ago (about how touch screen and L/R camera controls would completely not work) pointless! So I'm not going to say any more. Thanks!
not that I care anyway, because if it comes between 3DS or Vita MH, I'd pick Vita('s dual analogs) any day xP

hahaha yeah ! squaresoft has this promising title coming in... heroes of ruin. not quite the same, but still.
well @zezhyrule i had some time to think it over, and i remeber how the camera worked on the psp, and i never complained about so why not have the same thing on the 3DS? i really dont care as long as there MH game with at least 80 monsters on the 3DS

nah, i didnt mean that, i meant the d-pad for camera and circle pad for movement, so if you did the "claw" your index finger would be moving your hunter, and you would use your thumb on the d pad to move the camera (you know how stupid that would be if they used the dpad for movement? i would never get the game, that means 8 directions and thats it, no way)
