Does anyone know how to create furnishings for your in-game home? So far I only have the lamp you get when you start the game.
You can trade these with the Argosy captain or whatever his name is. I think you have to be a bit further into the game for him to come by though.
and you will have to hunt large monsters in Moga woods to get the items to trade(quests don't give those items)

@Gustoff I'd recommend to wait until at least Rathian starts appearing in moga woods so you can get better items to trade(though Royal Ludroth and Qurupeco also have good items)

@DanielHPoetry yes you can. though since I don't have the CPP I can't say if the game is better with it.

so I finally got a slime weapon and now I really don't understand why people say it's OP.
the hits rarely activate the slime(I mean slime splash animation not the explosion) so it's pretty balanced(if not underpowered)

at least the weapon looks really cool and the little slime blasts that happen almost compensate for the lack of element(pretty much like any other status)

Its because it gives explosions that allow parts that normally require a Hammer to be broken, couple that with Dios armor and you just explode everything all the time with nice damage spikes for flinches and falling over(Switch axe in Sword mode since it doesnt bounce is amazing with slime).
Iv recently been getting back in to the single player since I purchased it again for 3DS(had Wii U version) and have been playing with Gunlance to change it up with Steel Uragaan Armor(normally Switch Axe). I have a long list of Hi rank quests to go to get the Mark of the Hero quest to unlock, then once I beat Single Player I can go tackle G rank online.
Would be cool to get a fresh G rank team together.
I'll hop in with the Slime discussion. Worst "element" possible, it is so OP it is ridiculous. Its like mini bombs going off every few seconds, couple this with Chacha and Kayamba, you can take down most HR monsters quite quickly. Especially once you've levelled them up to around 40 or so their slime damage can be quite high.
The only thing Slime is not good on is Ceadeus, Goldbeard Ceadeus and Abyssal Lagiacrus I find. Simply because these guys can't go on land so hitting them Slime all the time is near impossible.
The other thing is coupling Slime with the Kelbi Slingshot, one you can already shoot mini bombs but along with Slime attached, I find its almost always an instant double explosion. Both from the initial bomb and the other from the Slime.
Hopefully they've nerfed it a little bit in MH4 because everyone rocks Slime in MH3U online I find. Its hard to find a room without someone using one, not sure what its like now as I only play o n the 3DS version. Wish I transferred my data over from the Wii U. >.<

Rory was asking me just the other day what in the world did you do with your Wii U?

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I'm really tempted by this.. I feel the pull of digital downloads now more than ever.. yet I resist. I really don't want to have to cough up the cash for a Hard Drive. >_<
Well, that $20.00 Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is too good to pass up.. I'll be downloading that soon.
BTW, how many weapons to ya'll usually main? I'm only using two, I'm just wondering how many you guys use.
I have all weapon types so I use about 20 weapons, maybe. though my most used ones are Tough Break(SA), Demon's Island(LBG) and Soundeater(LS)

I usually stock up to about 50-100, but mainly use Great Swords and Hammers. I will use the Dual Swords though if I'm feeling like having some fun, Mega Dash Juice, Mind's Eye, HG Earplugs with Dual Swords and traps... Let me at 'em ;D
One last key quest to do on HR5 and then HR6... Then run through that rubbish and get back to the Abyssal Lagi. Really want that dudes armour.
