I know instead of idiots making these type of things
This person is porting minecraft over to the 3DS for free, and you insult him. He's doing something nice, and you're taking your anger (over Minecraft not coming to Nintendo consoles) out on him.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

It's not for free. It goes at the cost of having to hack your 3DS, and no matter how you look at it, it's not worth it. Besides, he really is an idiot for trying to give us a game through a platform that causes more problems than it's worth. There are numerous means and methods to officially release this game on the eShop, and I would even pay for it despite not liking Minecraft, but he prefers supporting a hack instead of the gaming community.
@Kaze_Memaryu Microsoft now owns Minecraft, so the odds of seeing a Nintendo version is less than being struck by lightning while being eaten by a shark (IE, astronomically low) so instead of doing nothing like us, he develops his own version. This is like calling the people who made Project M for Super Smash Bros. Brawl idiots. They are doing nothing to harm you and are bringing fun to people who want to use their programs. Stooping to insults accomplishes nothing.

@SkywardLink98 You're missing the point. The creator of this Minecraft clone made his version from scratch, so he won't have to face any legal consequences if he actually tried to release his project as an official game. Instead, he wastes his time on Homebrew. There's no logical reason for it, except maybe supporting people who hack their consoles.
And Project M is a different topic altogether. While it also relies on hacks to be usable, it's also not a selfmade game, but a hack of an official game. I don't know how far that's legal, but they have no chance of releasing SSBPM officially, simply because it's a hack. 3DSCraft is no hack, it's a clone, just like SPIKEY WALLS is a clone of Flappy Bird, and clones, as long as they don't take assets from licensed and copyrighted games, are no problem.

Of course it does. It states a very unfavorable opinion or identification of this guy. And that shows the guy that people don't like him or his decision. What he makes of this is his problem. There's no easier way to question this guys' use of common sense or logic than calling him an idiot.
It might not bring him fame and fortune for being the first to make a Minecraft knockoff for 3DS, but it's not his job to bring Minecraft to 3DS so you can play it.

There's a difference between stating why you disagree with him and insulting him. I disagree with you, and so by your logic, I should start insulting you. If that's really what you want, let's pretend I insulted you in the worst way possible, and then move on with our lives. Deal?
(EDIT: Typos)
Wow so many misinformed and immature posts crapping on the developer, the program, and calling homebrew hacking. Seriously, look things up because you look silly. There's plenty of cases as it stands now with DSware and eShop 3DS stuff where people initially develop a game for either online service well before having any form of a kit or license just using their smarts and publicly figured out information on what makes either system tick. This guy is doing nothing wrong brewing up a new (port/ripoff) minecraft title for the 3DS. Stuff like this is common enough, what is uncommon though would be if he got it so good that he successfully could pitch it to someone who does have a license and get them to be the publisher to his developed product because then it would be licensed, would be legit, and would work on a stock system after buying it with some ecard bucks. This whole debate is just stupid. Insulting the guy and calling it a hack too is even more ignorant. The fact this thing in a very crusty rough alpha can make an endless world is amazing. The final project with full optimization may or may not handle that, who knows, other than him and time going forward to decide that once the environment, ai, and creatures are set in place. Just be happy someone is trying and pulled something off that good so far in so little time. Game development isn't an over night process, and if two months of work got that far that's impressive.
