My guess is just because Capcom made that game... as in, it wasn't Nintendo that decided on that, and... they just decided to not allow screenshots, their reasoning for doing so being beyond me... 0_o
That can't be right, because Mario Party Island Tour has AR games and still allows screenshots. And besides, if that is the reason, it can't be that hard to disable the screenshots if the camera is active.
Well anyway I'm not worried, 'cause I'm gonna start posting screenshots of graphical glitches in OoT 3D, lol. Talk about getting me to start playing a game again, haha.

The floating shopkeeper! This is my favorite little graphics quirk in any game, ever, lol. Lazy graphics people apparently decided that since you'll never see behind the counter, there was no need to give him legs... but I've seen the truth!
Ok guys, I can confirm that 3DS Miiverse is capable of not allowing you to post a screenshot if the 3DS is in camera mode. I tried it just now on Mario Tennis Open with the QR code feature.
