I don't like the name "Mario Kart 7". I understand that it's the 7th main game in the series, but casual gamers will just get confused and start looking for the previous 6 games.
@NintyFan, Really? I hate N64 Rainbow Road. I was the most boring Rainbow Road of all the Rainbow Road tracks and I think even the most boring track in Mario Kart.

@Sneaker: I beg to differ. I think it's longness was unique for Mario Kart and with a modern update it would really shine.
For a retro Bowser's Castle, I hope they do Double Dash's.
And about that seven, I think it's probably a special item like in Double Dash. And the fireball is a neat new item, even though it gets me how obvious the concept is and yet the idea slipped our heads.
But the fireball just acts like the green shell. It's hardly unique.
