Toad's Circuit looks better visually, but the design is still straightforward and uninteresting.

And unless this is your first day on the internet, you should have come to terms with the fact that other people have other opinions. Saying it doesn't make "sense" makes no sense in itself.

And no I didn't pause the video. Good to know!

The game is still worse off for having any MKW stages at all.

It doesn't make sense to say that certain courses make the game worse without explaining what is wrong with those courses. Keep defending Figure 8 Circuit and saying Mario Kart Wii stages are bad. Who cares if the stages are wide? When have Mario Kart tracks ever been exceptionally skinny? This isn't F-Zero. Track design is much more important than how wide a track is.

It is an opinion. It has nothing to do with sense, and no one is obligated to explain himself, though I did already (on Figure 8 vs Toad Circuit in my last post, MKW much earlier in the thread).

Width of the track is part of the design. When you design a course, you design how wide it is, how long, where it curves, where it straightens... all the parameters that give it its shape. You can't just remove one of the dimensions at whim.

But you're right, this is not F-Zero, the series known for its razor's edge thin courses.

...of course, MKW didn't have 30 drivers either.

Makes no sense.

Of course track design includes the width of the track, you don't have to be so condescending. Your sarcasm is so thick I could cut through it with a knife. You're the one who tries to counter everything I say, starting with a post I made on the last page. I have my opinions too, and I don't have to explain myself either. Oh, and reading your posts from ten pages back to understand what you are talking about now is less than ideal.

And btw, it's not difficult to find a wide F-Zero track. My point was, many F-Zero tracks are skinny on dangerous portions. The point I was making about Mario Kart not having skinny stages was overlooked. MK DD and DS by no means had narrow tracks. In fact, I've fallen off a lot more on Wii tracks than tracks in either of those games. MK Wii tracks are clearer wider, but it makes no difference, seeing they were never particularly narrow to begin with. That was my point.
@Cow, I guess to be more clear I should have said "track design is more than just how wide a track is."

I was just saying what Cowlaunch did, not sure how that was sarcastic, much less so thick. The Fzero part was the only joke, no harm meant..

Umm...okay. Cool then.

(But you've gotta admit, sarcasm is your go to move in most rebuttal posts.)

MKDS had some particularly narrow tracks. A good example would be Delfino Square. SMK had very narrow tracks, if we're talking about the parts you can race effectively on, which I assume we are. MK64 weren't as narrow, but not nearly as wide as Wii tracks. MKSC also had quite narrow track designs. I forget about DD.

If you like narrow tracks, that's fine. I just don't see how wide a track is affects me much when I'm driving down the middle of it. A lot of those older tracks "might" have been more narrow because of the hardware they were on. Tracks would probably serve old TVs better if they were narrow. Same goes for SC on the GBA. The screen is too small to have really wide tracks. The Wii is in widescreen, so it might be a reason they widened the tracks a bit more. Just an observation and it may have nothing to do with that.

And to explain myself a bit more, I like narrow tracks too. I love dropping banana peels on really narrow parts of the track.

MKDS had some particularly narrow tracks, Delfino Square for example. SMK generally had narrow tracks if we're talking about where you could race effectively, which I assume we are. MK64 less so, but not nearly as wide as Wii tracks. MKSC also had fairly narrow tracks. I forget most of the MKDD tracks.

I tend to turn on the sarcasm only in response to sarcasm, or just generally annoying people... or pixelman. I would never do anything to harm or insult a fellow shy guy.

There must be an entirely new part to Daisy Cruiser now that you can go into the pool. I bet it leads to the room after you drop through that hatch. That's about the only place it could go.

We're cool. We're both just passionate gamers that tend to butt heads a bit. I don't know why I let one person's opinion get to me sometimes.

I did not like Delfino Square much at all. Everyone always chose it online :/

I did like Tick Tock (whatever it's called) and Waluigi's Pinball was very fun to race on (glad it's back). I forgot most of the courses from MKDS... Peach Gardens for some reason reminded me of Disney.. Probably because I was also playing Toon Town Online and that game also had racing. As for RR on DS, I love the soundtrack on that course.

I wish they would have included Tick Tock Clock instead of DK Pass, but that just means it has a chance to be in MK Wii U. My three favorite courses from MK DS are Delfino Square, Tick Tock Clock, and Peach Gardens.

It looks like we're only 3 weeks away from the awesomeness that is Mario Kart 7. Skyward Sword will help the last two weeks go by.

I like DK Pass just as much, but Tick Tock would have been the bettet choice for 3d.

All the DS tracks have already been revealed. Luigis mansion, DK pass, Waluigi pinball and Airship fortress. I think Tick Tock clock should be saved for Wii U because it would look amazing on the big screen.

...Ugh, forgot about Airship. T.T
Ah well, Wii U it is then...lol
