Better than I thought, especially in the graphics department.

Graphics are great but the 3D make me want more... I didn't find the 3D is fully exploite (at least in this demo).

Sorry if my english isn't good... At least I try :-)

The demo sucks. Most of the minigames felt gimmicky and unfinished. Oh well, better luck next time Sega.

Oh yes, because I was so excited for this demo to come. How 'bout a Kid Icarus demo instead, eh?

I found this funner than the Resident Evil demo.

Just for you.

The demo is nice, but it doesn't make me want to buy the game.

The graphics look nice, but that is something I care less and less about. RE Rev has pretty cool graphics "for a DS game" as my friends say, but I'm in it for gameplay and this didn't do it for me.

As I played it I found a few things turning me away from the game (this is my experience. if you enjoy the game, then by all means enjoy the game! have fun with it! )

Well, firstly, it was too short. The RE demo (get ready for it, because I will make comparisons throughout) was also short, but the openness of that demo and the thrill of something scary or heart pumping happening kept me playing so that I wouldn't waste my uses. The M&S demo wasn't open or all that exciting. I will say that I really enjoyed the Shooting Range and Bicycle Race games, but the Trampoline, Swimming, and Football events were a little weird. Which brings me to my second point.

The Gameplay. In the RE demo, you get to roam around a limited area, but you have excellent controls for walking and shooting to survive in this space. In the M&S demo, it doesn't use the full set of controls for each game (not that it needs to) and the way they do have you control is a little strange. Why draw circles on the touchscreen to backstroke when you can spin circles on the Circle Pad? Or how about when doing the backstroke, you have the circle that you have to trace on the TOUCHSCREEN? The soccer game also was lacking in gameplay for me. It was good, but it takes a while [for me] to line up a shot right only to mess up because I was paying attention to the arrow as opposed to the ball coming at me.

My third and final area isn't a simple category like gameplay or length. It's one I like to call "Is-this-the-game-you-really-want-to-do-this-in?" area. When playing RE, I wanted to play the full game with the same controls (or at least with enhanced CPP controls) and the same gameplay because it felt like a nice survival horror game. When I was playing M&S, I was forced to assume that this was the entire game. Why would I want to do this? If I wanted to play minigames like this, I would just go play Mario Party or WarioWare.

The demo was fun, but not incredible. I have only played it twice...for 18 minutes total.
The RE demo has taken 5 hours of my life away and I still have 21 uses left!

An OK demo, but not worth my $40 for an entire game composed only of this...

I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite

Love it! I'm still wowed at the visuals the 3DS can produce. Yes I know this is nothing compared to everything else coming out in February, but I'm a sucker for this art style. The Rapid Fire Pistol is fun enough but short. Football is tricky but entertaining. Who doesn't want to try scoring goals off athletic EGGPAWNS!!!! Trampoline is a really good use of 3D (it takes place from an overhead perspective) and the cinematic special moves are satisfying to pull off. The breath stroke is one of lesser games in my opinion. Drawing circles over and over is just... bland. Finally BMX is tied with trampoline as my favorite event in the demo. In a it's like Excitebike with Gyro Controls and Sonic/Mario characters. Also you don't have to tilt the handheld much so the 3D effect is easily kept. Overall I'm loving what I'm getting and Valentine's Day can't come soon enough!

Have similar feelings and I like to add that each event having it's own control mechanics really helps removing cramp hands. I don't have to grip the same position in lengthy sessions.

Decent demo, the only thing I'm not a big fan of is the epic amount of Sonic characters (admittedly my fault for never liking Sonic, not an issue with the game), and the tilt controls for the biking course. Holding the 3DS flat is not comfy and makes 3D a bit of a pain.

Before you start the event, it tells you to hold it flat out to calibrate the Gyro sensor. Put the system in a position that's comfortable for you, and you can play from that as the "flat" position.

As much as I like the demo, I can't help but ask: Has anyone ever been able to get more than 6 points in football? I look down at the bottom screen and the CPU in first has anywhere from 7-10 points.

Just wait until you see how hard the ACTUAL Olympics suck!

Not really! But does seem to be how most of us Brits feel about it - we want to be the best Olympics ever, but we can't even manage to get ourselves a copy of the demo in London on time! Perhaps we should take Ninties advice and move them to America?
