I worked really hard in my younger years to lvl up my Typhlosion in the Pokemon Gold game, and later transferred him to Crystal and gave the Gold game to my little sister.

Now I have Pokemon X and I REALLY want Typhlosion on this game. I am hoping some gamer genius on here knows of a way to get Typhlosion from Crystal to Pokemon X. Anyone? PLEASE HELP!!

I'm afraid you cannot transfer it.

The internal system for the pokemon games changed drastically from gold & silver to ruby & sapphire, the pokemon from the first and second generation are not compatible with any game from generation 3 and up.

So sadly, there's no way to transfer your pokemon.

Start again from square one. OR/AS give you the option of a Johto starter after beating the League and the Delta Episode

He can't transfer it via Gameboys/Advances and all that stuff? lol
I mean, it's possible, but...you need like, a couple systems and several games I think...or does it just say something like "your Pokemon is too old, lol"

You cannot transfer from Generation 2 games. Generation 3 had no way to connect to Generation 2. Future Generations only allowed for connecting to the previous Generation and no further. I heard rumors that Pokemon Colosseum could be used but can't find any evidence of that.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Eel

There's absolutely no way to get a Gen I-II pokemon to any modern game (Gen III and above).

Even if there was a way to do it, the Pokemon wouldn't be the same pokemon anyway. The closest thing would be generating a brand new pokemon with the same level, moves and OT.

The systems from gen ii to gen iii are really very different, it's not a matter of them "blocking out" older 'mons.

Not nessescarly they're pretty difficult to get. There are fast leveling methods tho in both oras and x/y.

But yeah as others said you can't move it over.
