Topic: I dont get the function of the 3D

I'm going to chime in here just to note that I too love the 3D and am sad it didn't catch on. I wouldn't turn it off if you paid me.

It's not purely an aesthetic gimmick, either. Actually having depth perception is pretty helpful in some games.

@ReaderRagfish: The sad thing is that I did have an opportunity to grab the Animal Crossing HHD bundle at one point, but I'm not a huge fan of the series and didn't like the design for that system anyway. Unfortunately the other bundles were always out when I checked. These things almost always seem to go live while I'm working....I do a lot of contract work, so to keep up the professionalism, I can't hover on the internet or my phone all day.

I've been watching for New 3DS XL deals as the holidays approach as I suspect this will be the last year of the "3D" systems.
