For me, I'll start off by just having a folder for DSiWare, a folder for Demos, and a folder for VC games, and everything else will still be on the outside. Then I'll make folders for other things when my front menu gets too full. What about you?

Why exclude folders for games and apps. I totally need it for my photos. I would organise it such: Very Sexy Photos of myself Sexy Photos of myself Beautiful Photos of myself (I was sick those days)
I plan to have one folder for videos, one folder for demos, one folder for games and apps I don't plan to use frequently, and everything else at the top level.
I plan on a DSiWare folder, a 3DSware folder, Demos folder, Video Folder, and a final Folder for VC games! Inside that folder will be a Gameboy Folder, A Game Gear folder, an NES Folder, a 3D Classics folder and whatever other systems they release
Oh, and A 3DS Games folder for full retail downloads!

Basically, what he said.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
I'll put everything into one folder, then put it in another folder, and that in another folder.
Then I'll smash it with a hammer!!!
Sorry, you just reminded me of a line from The Emperor's New Groove. I don't really know how I'll organize mine yet. I'll probably leave non-game apps (the camera app, the music app, Netflix, ect) out on the regular menu for easy access. As for my games, I may just divide it by format (3DSware, DSiWare, VC). If it will let me, I'll make subfolders within the VC folder for different systems.
I want my Ambassador games in one folder, that's all I know for sure right now. =P

Now I've got a dilemma, how I want to divide my folders. I get VERY, VERY technical about things like this. I'm sure to be a pain in my own flank for a couple of days after the update, figuring out how I want to go about it. So far I have 3DS Downloads, DSiWare, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, NES, Game Trailers, and Demos. It's the things built into the 3DS that I'm having difficulty with in my steel trap mind.
Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D

I'm not sure... I kind of like the gigantic wall of fun things that greets me on the menu right now. I'll try categorizing and folder-izing, but part of me doesn't want to give up the crazy toybox feel that my folderless, Ambassador, & download heavy 3DS currently offers.

I'm trying to decide between organizing by System type (Gameboy, Color Gameboy/Sega, 3DS downlowds, Apps, Demos, etc) and game type (puzzle, action, etc), most likely System though.
I read a couple of people mentioning their pictures and videos, I don't think that those will be on the main screen since they aren't now. Will they be?
