I like battery power, and I rarely go where there would be a benefit to have it on. I leave it off 95% of the time to conserve power as it's a waste. If I go somewhere where they have a likelyhood of demos or people to street pass with there then I'd enable it. Having it on just for the sake of being on just seems dumb to me as it's a drain on an already mediocre battery life.

It's always on for me. I never even think about turning it off. I think the only time I've ever turned it off was when I got the system and was playing around with all the features. It seems silly for me to turn it off when I connect online daily just to save a bit of power. I usually play at home anyway and always have access to a charger. I usually shut the system off at night though because without the computer being on I can't go online with the 3DS (damn Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector)
