it looks so uncomfortable and unnatural to play with your pinky like that O_O hope it only looks that way and it's not actually uncomfortable.
I've played Metroid Prime Hunters for over 1,400 hours like that. The worst discomfort I've had playing the game to date has been a slight numbness with my right hand on occasion. I'd say about every 20 hours or so with that game I may get a bit of numbness that I'll take a second or two to shake off.
I play Kid Icarus: Uprising that way, but I remember you posting that you didn't like that game.
Nice sweater, by the way. Must be warm.
I didn't have a problem with how my hands were set while playing Kid Icarus Uprising. I just didn't like that the game had turning done by quick flicks and taps.
I want warmer. I'm not too good with any kind of chill in the air.

1. Those soft little thumb sticks on the Vita aren't that great
2, Nobody wants to use touch screen only aiming
3. The 3DS lacks a well placed 2nd thumb stick
.
A touch screen is much more accurate than analog sticks for aiming. Using thumb sticks for FPS is intentionally handicapping yourself.
Comfort trumps accuracy for me. Aiming with a touch screen is usually very uncomfortable, and the big reason I didn't care for KI:Uprising very much.
FPS's shouldn't be popular on handhelds because they cannot be played properly without a keyboard and mouse.
Only ones I have bothered with recently are Serious Sam BFE and Rage.
(Played a bit of Chivalry : Medieval Warfare as well but it is first person but not really a shooter).
I might get DayZ because quite a few of my friends are playing it which is increasingly uncommon.
A Console style FPS (Compared to a proper PC one) is the same as an endless runner is to Mario. (The aiming is the main thing - without it is like Mario without moving).
