@Aqueous I already knew that much. I mostly want to know if you can do online multiplayer. Thanks for going through the trouble though.

@Happy_Mask Yeah I ment the us released ones. This game is sounding better and better everyday. I hope it comes out early 2013 but I think we will get luigi's mansion 2 first and maybe even animal crossing before it comes out here in the US. I'm hoping I don't have to wait till July to play this. That's almost a year away.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Tech101 Believe me and @Tsuchinoko when we say, Its amazing! It has possibly the most diverse character roster in the series, combines all the best gameplay elements from previous FEs and adds a new free spot pass chapter every couple of weeks. @Tsuchinoko does it still have Biorhythm? Because that mechanic screwed me over so many times.D:

@Tsuchinoko In FE 9 and 10, apparently every character had uncontrollable mood swings (or something ) and that would dictate how well they do in battle. (it was only a small improvement or reduction in stats depending on the current biorythm of the character)

@Happy_mask I don't know about that. I haven't seen anything like that in this game. Stats go up depending on who the character is partnered up with, and what their compatibility level is with the person they are standing next to on the grid. There's also the option to Double two characters for the entirety of a battle, but I haven't really done that, but I think it just has the same effect as if they were just standing next to each other, except they move as one unit.
Other than that, I haven't noticed anything huge that affect stats mid-battle, other than normal things like weapons breaking and all that.

@Tsuchinoko Believe me, you would have noticed if it was there. But that is great it was removed! @Demon13ruce all FE's are by intelligent systems, and obviously, nintendo.

Happy_Mask is one of those FE games that you mentioned that had this feature the Wii one? I never played that game.
I feel that the game is tight and well made. The only feature I don't understand the point of is the "My Unit" feature. I don't think it adds anything to the game. A character with amnesia that is meant to represent the player, so that the main characters have someone to explain things to? I don't know, this feel like writing cheat to me, and really, in this game, the story jumps ahead several times, so at one point the MU character is just as seasoned as the others, and his amnesia isn't really mentioned again for a looong time. I dunno, I mean, the story in the game is really, really good. I just think this is one of those features that kind of makes me roll my eyes, because I feel like I've seen it many times before.

@Tsuchinoko MU is fan service . Fans wanted a customizable character and it needed to be incorporated into the story . And yes, the wii one and gcn one are the only two that use biorythm (thank goodness ) @Demon13ruce yes, but in this game, you can play in n00b mode (when anyone dies they come back next chapter) and classic mode (where death is permanent ). It's worth it to note that these are in no way connected to the difficulty.

Pretty old news, probably known by anyone who cares, and rather irrelevant unless you live in Japan, or have a Japanese 3DS and can read Japanese.
On August 9th They started releasing the second series of DLC episodes.
Buuuuut, I thought I might as well try to reveive the thread..
Thanks for trying Void. :3 it's good to see another FE fan in the US who knows of what is going on as well. But it's hard to keep a thread about a game alive, when the people who have played it are all in japan, so few people get what we are saying. @Tsuchinoko What chapter are you on?

It's ridiculous that the rest of as have to wait till FREAKING NEXT YEAR until it comes up on the store shelves when Japan has had it for this long already. This is going to be my first Fire Emblem game, so needless to say the wait is kinda getting to me. But on the bright side, at least we will get it eventually instead of not at all. Just wish it was sooner...
@Tech101 Old characters from past games remade to fit the art and play style are rewards for completing dlc maps, old legendary weapons, and the newer ones are going to add on to the story. I could go into further detail, but that might spoil some stuff. >:3 @WingedFish the wait is tearing away at my soul, if that makes you feel better.D:
