Hey everyone, I noticed some of my DS games will not pick up the Wi-Fi. My 3DS is connected to the Internet, but the DS games won't work. Any solutions?

Try transferring the Wi-Fi connection from the DS cart to the 3DS. There's usually a setting on the game itself. It worked in geting my mario kart DS online data to my 3DS, so mabey it could work on this. If thats not the case, then make sure your router is set to WEP. Anything else such as WPA will let you online, but prevent online play amongst DS cards. Hope this helped, and sorry if this does not. Good luck!

Have you experienced any freezing? My system freezes whenever I try and play multiplayer DS games, local or online. It would freeze if I tried to configure my settings or do DS Download Play. Nintendo said they would have to repair it, but I'm not going to because I rarely ever play DS games on it and I have my DS for that =P
If your wireless router is WPA rather than WEP then you can't play DS games online on the 3DS as all DS games use WEP security whereas the 3DS uses WPA. I know because I had this problem and phoned NOE customer services about it which is where I got this information.

Mostly correct, although this discussion happened in another thread recently - there are a select few DS games which can use WPA (e.g. Pokemon Black & White, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem among others).

Those are all recent games so I wonder if its the same with Solatorobo: Red the hunter and Professor Layton and the Spectre's call when that comes out, I hope it is.
