I mean the eShop is a lot better than what the Wii offered...
No it's not. Unless I use the search function, I can't find jack crap on the eShop. At least on the Wii shop I could find stuff just by going to the newest games section, which ordered the entire library by release date.
I like the eShop for its rotation of titles. That way certain games can have the spotlight on one week, then others in other weeks
The Wii Shop does that, too. At least the Wii Shop also makes for easy browsing of titles as well.

Maybe he means on how it operates and all that. If not, then...yeah, it's crap right now, lol.

I agree that they made it like a damn labyrinth. But just the interface itself is a lot better. Being able to download everything from one channel is a lot better than having for example a 'Nintendo Channel' for videos and a 'Shop Channel' for downloadable games like the Wii.
Now we can rate, see rating, watch trailers and download games from one channel instead of having to go to a different one. I like that.
I can't find anything on PSN or MacApp Store unless I use the search function- so, I really don't understand what you're getting at, Mickeymac
(considering ALL new releases on are the front page, as well as many categories- eShop is a huge improvement over Wii Shop and DSiShop).
As for Nintendo dying- they're not. At least, digital distribution isn't. I'm liking the fact that 3DS and Vita are standing up against the others. I think anyone who wants to play video games on the go, they'd pick up a 3DS or Vita. That's if they're really into gaming on the go, for the most part. If I wanted a handheld to play games, I wouldn't pick a tablet, smartphone (especially) or anything like that. I'd pick a 3DS (which I did) or a Vita (which I'm going to). Plus, in terms of cartidges/cards, it's much more convinient than downloading because you have a limited space on your iTouch (particularly) and iPhone (correct me if I'm wrong with that). There's no external media option and surely, games are limited in size as a digital product on these platforms for the most part and from my knowledge.
And this is personal- but I seem to not play 'digital' downloaded games much for some reason. It's weird- a game can be really lengthy, like an RPG, but I seem to stop playing them fast. Oh well.

i consider myself a non digital person as well but Nostalgia and the quick fix is what this industry is coming to. Hardcore and casual gamers both need to be pleased for any type of gain on that Damn Apple.
I think Nintendo is going to gear more for the gamers than the casuals with the 3DS. I think they realize that Apple is getting more casuals with their iDevices, so, there's really no point in pursuing them. Sure, they'll make "Touch Generations"-like games that is really popular all around anyhow, they won't be pushing for the casuals but surely, they're not out of their minds
i chose the 3ds because i needed something handheld to play games, then in second to use the wifi stuff. the fact i could still play my regular DS games was an instant choice.
since nintendo is a gaming company over a multimedia company, i stick with the one who makes games since the beginning and i love nintendo's spirit and characters.
-stupid ideas for what should and shouldn't be localized -having last gen online -the completely idiotic hardcore vs. casual debate they started and people only buying Nintendo series and a couple of other games depending on if they are "hardcore" or casual thanks to being sheep -shovelware -problems with marketing -releasing a new system in March -God hates Nintendo -watching paint dry -moo
i didn't real like how OK Go were in skin tight clothes, on top of that they had to press there butts up against the glass and that was so very appealing...(that was sarcasm, for you people who take things too seriously)
3DS Friend Code: 1375-7199-0087 user name is Jon

Then you're not trying. The PSN and iOS stores both do a great job of listing all the new releases in an easy to find place, and letting you access categories by genre etc. The iOS goes one step further to give you easy access to bestsellers.

You're wrong. 16GB for entry level models means you'll be able to store around 30 games on the device at any one time. The rest can be archived. If you really need to be carrying more than 30 games around with you at a time, then ok. But carrying 30 cartridges around isn't much fun either.
these are all more relevent than 3DSWare/VC
Nah. More and more people are buying games through digital distribution. Nintendo is a company losing relevance. Once that happens the writing's on the wall.
