I didn't see a thread for this, so I'm sorry if it already exists. I bought it on launch day today at the third store I tried. So far, I'm having a great time with it. The did a really nice job of putting the story together in Chronicle Mode, which I have now completed. The gameplay is actually pretty different from Street Fighter. Street Fighter is a 2D fighter with loads of flashy special moves, projectiles, and aerial attacks. This is a 3D fighter that doesn't really have special moves but instead focuses on fluid punch and kick combos, throws, and counterattacks (called holds), plus there are some lovely multi-tiered arenas. Meanwhile, the graphics are just amazing. It's worth bumping down the framerate to 30 FPS (I've never been able to tell the difference between 30 and 60 FPS, anyway) to see it in 3D. The movelist on the bottom screen is pretty nice to train with, but it's pretty pointless once the real fights start. Like I said, I've beaten Chronicle Mode, but I'm still missing some characters. Does anybody know how to unlock them?
