Topic: Anyone download Cube Tactics?

Anyone download Cube Tactics that came out today, how is it?

The game itself is fine, but it find it VERY odd for it to have online multiplayer but not local multiplayer.

I've been wondering about the online. Is it organized, allowing people to easily play with friends, or is it something simplistic like that Sub Wars game where it's just random assignment?

You can enter a quick match or create a custom room. But good luck finding players.

But I found it to be kinda laggy.

The game disappoints me. It is difficult to find matches online (and like Moorpheel said, it is laggy), and there is no local multiplayer! This is a real shame since the solo campaign is nothing to write home about . It's 25 levels of working around the games lousy AI. The game is less strategy, and more hope for the best. I can't recommend it.

I haven't checked out the Wi-Fi play yet, but the single player is pretty fun!

NWR: 8/10

Positives: They said it's one of the most unique games on the eShop, from a genre that the 3DS is lacking in at the moment. It manages to maintain a great difficulty curve that's always fair, and the controls are very responsive. They said each gameplay mode feels unique, has lots of content, & is fun (even the tutorial avoids holding your hand, and is enjoyable).

Cons: Online play is a mess, and there's no local multiplayer, which is a missed opportunity.
