Topic: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Thread

Anyone else have K.K. Song playing in their house right now? For some reason I always found it sort of creepy. Hopefully people that I Streetpass will not know about the song and be startled by the strange music playing in my house when they see it in their Showcase...

In other news, Animal Crossing is officially my most played game on 3DS. According to my activity log, I've played 70 hours... I know that's not much compared to some people here, but it's shocking that just after a month of having the game, it beat out every other game in my log... Yikes, this is the definition of addicted.

Did anyone else receive their first special mail gift from Nintendo through Pete? I honestly thought it got replaced by the direct monthly mail present in the post office. Glad to see it make a return!

I brought 1000 turnips a couple of weeks ago for 93 bells each,and all that week the turnip prices where under 80 bells,so I just let them rot.I didn't bother the week after and all that week I had really really high prices,I remember one morning they were selling Turnips for 540.

You let them rot? Why not sell them at 80 or whatever and recover some of your money back?

@AlexSays I get around 1 million bells a day. How? I go to the island at 7pm and do 3 trips to catch beetles and a quarter of them are Golden Stags, so it's really useful. Plus my ordinance is rich town so that also helps.

Dosnt that take a lot of time? I am lucky if I catchs four golden stags on one trip

Actually it takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes as I filled out the spaces on my island with palm trees with easy access to space and enough to make more beetles spawn. It's a really good method if you try it daily or time to time.

Never once caught a golden stag.... Im sure ive seen them, but they've always flown away when i get near.... And thats even creeping up on them.

While creeping up if you stop moving completely for short periods of time their suspicion levels will drop. Not usually a problem, but it helps with the rarer insects.
