Well there are the obvious classics like Super Mario Land 1 & 2, Metroid II, Kirby's Dream Land 1-2, and The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening & The Oracle games. I've loved all of those so I was wondering what other must haves there are. I also liked the Donkey Kong GB game.

Shantae is commonly considered one of the best games on the GBC.
You also may enjoy the wide collection of Sega 3D Classics, including the upcoming Sonic 2 and Gunstar Heroes.
Currently bored (while change when I stop being bored)
Speaking of 3D Classics, I am planning on buying Sonic 2, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, and maybe Shinobi III. The only Sega Arcade 3D classic that I have played enough to recall is Outrun, which I will probably buy as well. There are many other Sega Arcade games I have not had the chance to play in the past that I have heard are great games such as Fantasy Zone 2 and Afterburner 2. Of the Sega 3D arcade classics up for selection, what do you guys think I should buy?
Off topic but also... Don't you guys think the Phantasy Star and Shining Force games should be ported next? Sega's on a roll!

I would recomment you Outrun and Fantasy Zone 2. Those games have infinite replayability and never stop to be fun trying to beat your own score. Sega's arcade spirit at its finest.
Donkey Kong (or DK '94) - wicked good game - so much personality packed into that small package
Shantae
All of the Legend of Zelda games - but Zelda II is very glitchy I've found
Metroid II (Metroid from the NES is surprisingly bad - passwords - really?)
Shining Force Sword of Hajya
@TeeJay: Thanks for the recommendations. However, I think you read the post wrong, because you can't recommend stuff that isn't even on the 3DS Virtual Console.

Super Smash Bros Mains:
Kirby, King Dedede, Mega Man
Links awakening and pokemon trading card game are both very solid virtual console titles in my experience. Might try out some of the suggestions in this thread.

...Oops.
I guess I'm just really salty about it is all. The salt is clouding my eyesight. Also it burns.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Going off topic here a bit so don't mind if I ask.
How is it that we don't have an interview with any of the Nintendo staff relating to this issue about GBA games on Wii U instead of the 3DS? How is it that its not even mentioned once ever since the reveal?
I hope @Nintendolife asks this question should they ever get the chance for an interview.

Because Nintendo doesn't like to talk about their faults and glaring problems unless they're either directly asked, at which they will skillfully dodge the question, or until they've already solved the problem far in the future. They don't seem to have a problem talking about their past gen machine's faults but remain tight-lipped about obvious things wrong with how they're handling this gen.

I don't understand how to play AfterBurner. I keep dying and I don't get how I can avoid it. Sorry I'm misplaced to talk about this game. But yeah I had much more fun with Fantasy Zone 2
What's some of your all's thoughts on Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria? I'm trying to decide if it's for me. To give you a bit of background...
-I'm usually not a huge RPG guy, but I've enjoyed a decent handful at least over time such as Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario series, Mario & Luigi series, Earthbound/Mother series, and a few others here and there.
-I'm usually more into getting VC games with my eshop credit instead of indy games honestly since I'm a big first party Nintendo fan, and I don't always trust the indy games to be such good quality. I know that sounds bad but that's just how I've been a lot of the time.
-How is the difficulty?
I plan on playing this on the 3DS if I get it by the way, and finding a way to possibly trade the Wii U version that comes with it
