I'd like my 3DS to give me a ton of cheese to go with all of this whine. Seriously, while I know the 3DS isn't perfect, Nintendo has more stuff on their plate than anybody knows, and I don't think addressing the minor complaints some of us have with the 3DS will be best for us in the long run. I'd rather be grumbling under my breath about a system's flaws when I have more games than I know what to do with than have a perfect system with nothing to do on it.

You'd have lots more games if the 3DS wasn't region locked.
Making me by two of the things was an embarrasing effort by Nintendo.

That's where you're wrong (imho), if Nintendo simply ignore complaints made by the people that purchase their hardware, not only will they damage their future interests (believe me, there are thousands of people that have stayed away from the 3DS due to bad press), but they won't learn anything!! If history teaches us anything... it's that Nintendo has a habit of learning their lessons (and they're jammy sons of biscuits). Plus when they eventually release the 3DS Lite/XL/SP they can use the fixed issues as a sales point to sell to existing 3DS owners.
I would love a tighter stick, a looser d-pad and for the bottom screen not the meet the top... and in some extra battery time & I'd be sold!

Get rid of the L & R buttons being able to turn on the camera function, I'm constantly hitting those when I don't want the camera.
Also the ability to play movie files like the digital ones that you get on DVD/Blu-Ray movies. I figure if you can play music files and canrecord video now playing video files shouldn't be too hard.

Flipnote Memo - This is the only DSi feature that's still missing in the 3DS since Swapnote replaced Pitcochat.
Ability to do multiplayer with all VC games
Ability to search on the eShop by genres (like the Wii's shop) along with the weekly "categories".
An app that allows you to play DSiware from the SD card - Yes, I know this one is nowhere near as essential as the other three, and it's not really likely to happen, it's more of a personal thing, but it would encourage me (as well as other people) to get alot more DSiware.
Other than those, I think they've mostly caught up since last year IMO.
Hardware-wise, I can't see a new remodel coming out until 2013 at the earliest, and the only differences I could even see in a revision is either the second analog being built in, an XL version, and/or 3G version. The 3DS we have now is already the size of a DS Lite.
One more thing, I hope a streamlined 3DS (a model that doesn't play NDS games) never happens, ever.

I've always been happy my PSP wasn't region locked. Wouldn't mind that for the 3DS (it was good enough for the old DS after all). I don't really care for Nintendo's reasons as to why the games are region locked. One was because different countries have different ratings. So what? Who would that affect? Kids aren't going to be able to or even be aware of importing a $70 3DS game anyway. If they have good reasons I feel like they should just be upfront and say them instead of making lame excuses like that. I dunno. Don't really care that much anyway. But it would be nice.
But does anyone else feel like their top screen is kinda wobbly? I was noticing on my old DS it was solid, but the 3DS it seems to sort of wobble forward and back too easily. So some more stabilization up there would be nice. Other than that I love my 3DS.
DS games that look as sharp and as crisp as they do on DS Lite. The difference between DSL and 3DS display is quite noticeable.
So you're saying to lower the resolution of the screen? I think that would be a downgrade
He might have meant raising the resolution to four times that of the original DS Phat/Lite/i/i XL systems. Thus, one pixel in-game would be scaled to 4 pixels on the vastly superior 3DS.
Um, why? The 3DS is nowhere near that resolution, so that would be quite pointless
Would you rather watch your 3DS on your TV through a scart lead or a coaxial cable? Micro HDMI connections are low power and take up very little space... plus they transmit enough info to allow 3D TV's to benefit from the 3DS' chief gimmick. Any connection lower than HDMI would simply be backwards and pointless.
