@Tops: I bought (mainly for the Mighty Gun volt deal) and I enjoyed it. I was skeptical at first but I never played a Zero game so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. I decided to give it a try and I really really enjoyed it. The story is interesting the bosses are pretty fun and I do really enjoy the tag system of attacking. It's a bit odd to get use to at first but once you do its second nature. The ability to get upgrades is great too so it gives you a sense of getting more powerful. There are added challenges in each level like doing a no damage run but if you don't accomplish it it doesn't hurt you in the end run its there mainly for replay value.
For the price tag I think it's worth it with the amount of content. Of course if you are iffy on the price you can just wait for a sale.

Gunvolt actually plays nothing like Mega Man Zero. At all. It looks similar, but it's a completely different game. I haven't played the demo, but unless it's a bad demo, I'm pretty sure Waveboy has no idea what he's talking about...

Really?? I wonder why so many people say that then? As I said I can't say that since I never played a Zero game.

Hi everyone, just wondering if I could get your thoughts on two games - Azure Striker Gunvolt & Shantae & the Pirates Curse if that's no problem.
Had my eye on these two for a while & although I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on Thursday (enjoying it so far, a few niggles aside) thought a good fun platformer would be nice to break it up in-between. So out of the two above, what would you recommend, content wise, value for money, fun factor etc?
Or should I just stick with Rayman Origins (which I love anyway) for the time being and wait for a sale?
Thanks

Shantae went on sale a few weeks ago so another may not happen for awhile, if you're in Europe then you should pick up Azure now as you'll get a free game of Mighty Gunvolt as well.
Would anyone recommend either The Legend of Dark Witch or Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX at their current EU sale prices (£2.60 & £4.49)? I got a soft spot for games that use anime style visuals but I just don't feel all that heavily drawn to these plus the savings via the sales aren't all that great.

Isn't it a bit early in the day to start talking about gothic architecture?
Well, if you care to come a bit closer, we can discuss things of another nature.
Yeah, when I saw that I went and bought Cave Story. I never really thought about it before, but when I saw it was on sale I just randomly decided that I should buy it!

I bought Cave Story too, I own it on Wii Ware, but I so rarely get to play in Wii Mode that I decided $5 for a portable version would be worth it lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I have bought both games when they went on sale! Yumi's Odd Odyssey 3DS is a very cute/challenging game (Already beat it). As for HomeTown Story 3DS I bought it on sale but just got started playing the game so far from what I can tell it's very cute!
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
Thank you. Yume is definitely one I'm gonna grab (I narrowly missed the sale last time ). I think I'll watch some gameplay of Hometown Story, though. I've heard mixed things all around...
Has anyone played Mercenaries Saga 2 and/or Swords & Darkness? Was thinking of picking one up today but not sure what one, I really enjoyed the Swords & Darkness demo but Mercenaries Saga 2 looks fun too!
I Want both Code Of Princess and Yumis Odd Odyssey,Only problem is I've only 15 quid on my account and can't put money into it till Monday (I hate being a grown up with bills😫) So which should I get ,Or maybe you think I should avoid them both,Any help would be appreciated.
If you like arcade-y, score attack sports games then this is pretty good. Despite its simplicity I think it's fun and addictive and worth your time. A recommendation from me!
