2014 without a new Metroid release is another year that the 3DS will remain behind the Nintendo DS in my opinion. Same can be said regarding WarioWare. Nintendo should tap into more of their IPs next year.
A 2-3 year old system will be behind a 7 year old (game wise) system. Do tell
I would be surprised if we don't see a WarioWare 3DS, but Intelligent has been busy this year (Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, etc.)
I didn't mean to compare the 3DS's current life time to the DS's life time. What I was meaning to compare was the DS and 3DS at the same points in their life times. I feel that the Nintendo DS was quite a bit ahead going into 3 years of its life than the 3DS currently is during the same amount of time, especially on the Nintendo front.
I don't know. After Game & Wario, I'm seriously wondering what they're planning on doing with the WarioWare IP. I mean they rushed out a mini-game collection after not having a release for over 3 years since WarioWare D.I.Y. I wonder if they even think the series is worth the effort.
After the last two Wario Ware games, i'm actually kinda worried about the series, it's like they don't care about the formula that made the games good anymore.
I kinda doubt Smash will come next year... they always delay Smash.... especially Brawl.... so I'll expect the worst(more than 2 years delaying) and hope for the not so bad(early 2015) this way the best possible situation(no delays ) will surprise me and make me even happier if it happens.

I'm worried the Wario series as a whole is on the verge of being cancelled or killed. The poor sales of the Wario platformers (World, Master of Disguise and Land Shake It) and the mediocre reception and sales of the last few WarioWare games (especially Game & Wario) make me worried Nintendo will just pull the plug on it like they nearly did to Fire Emblem.
Or like what they actually did to F-Zero, Starfy and a few others.
The Wario series in general coming to an end? Give me a break. It's all still part of the Mario universe.
It's not as popular and profitable as the Donkey Kong games, but since the Yoshi series is making a comeback after the disappointing Yoshi's Island DS seven years ago in 2006, I wouldn't be concerned for a minute about Wario.
even Kid Icarus was revived!(and in a great way in my opinion) "Warui Mario" might get forgotten for a few years but won't be forever(unless they make a Waluigi game then Wario is dead )

I think Kirby 3DS is coming out sooner than people think. It looked fairly far along in development. Another thing, NSMB 2 was announced in the April 2012 Japan ND. Then it was released in EU and Japan in July 2012, Then in NA in August 2012. Safe to say, Kirby 3DS will be out before September.
Man, I'd kill for a new Advance Wars from Intelligent Systems...

Mario Golf: World Tour will probably come in summer
Yoshi's New Island will probably come in fall
Super Smash Bros. will come in the holiday season if it's not delayed
I hope for a long-overdue WarioWare 3DS
I wanted Mario Golf this summer. (Enjoyed Toadstool Tour quite a lot).
Seems like they dropped everything for the 3DS in favour of the Wii U.
not a real problem they did the oposite this year(more 3DS less WiiU)

I predict Pokemon remake of Ruby & Sapphire will be announced next year. I pray for another Pokemon ranger game. Professor Layton & Ace Attorney game will be out in the summer I think.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I believe they won't make a remake of Majora's Mask. Nintendo needs to focus on a new stuff... But I am pretty sure that Metroid for 3DS is in development. It's gonna be 2.5D sidescroller not FPS but I'm not quite sure if we'll see it in 2014.
A strong man doesn't need to read the future... He makes his own.
I will be releasing my upcoming video game quantrains and predictions via my blog over the next month, but if I had to say something I would say that the system will continue to dominate throughout 2014 with huge sales and big titles.
Lots of big games and exciting titles will finally make their way to the 3DS by summer/fall and more and more consoles will move and stay in high demand worldwide.

I reckon they wont do a remake of R&S, R&B and G&S couldn't link up with the series at all so a remake were justified and R&S were probably the weakest recieved out of them all so there wouldn't be any fan fare.
Bravely Default! Mario Golf and Monster Hunter for me! Hopefully Persona Q also!
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.
