News Strong Bad's Freezing Issue for Attractive People!
According to Nintendo WiiFanboy, some users of Strong Bad: Episode 1 Homestar Ruiner have experienced freezing issues during the game. Readers over at the Telltale forums are also reporting the same problem. Some users have said that changing the display from 16x9 widescreen setting over to the regular 4:3 display setting fixes this problem. Other users have also said that changing the setting from 480p to 480i also helps.
If you're experiencing this freezing issue this is about the only help we can offer until Telltale releases a patch to completely fix the proble...
News Tetris Party - New Game Play Video!
We already know that Hudson's Tetris Party will support the Wii Fit Balance Board as well as Wii Remote 'point and shoot' control. Couple that together with online play and 18 different game modes to choose from and what you have is a fairly impressive Tetris package overall.
We still don't have a firm release date for Tetris Party, but Hudson has...
News Space Invaders Get Even - Stage Pack Details
Space Invaders Get Even is about to give the phrase "sold separately" a whole new meaning. We announced in our last Space Invaders Get Even news article that, while the game would only cost you 500 Wii Points, it would only buy you the basic game package with additional game content made available at an extra cost. Taito has just released more information to help clear up any questions regarding this additional downloadable content.
The main game package, aptly named the Starter Pack, will cost you 500 Wii Points and will fea...
News Could Elite 4 Be Headed To WiiWare?
About Time
While it's certainly no Duke Nukem, Frontier's Elite 4 title has seen its fair share of delays and supposed project cancellations since development on the game began back in 2000. After a successful run on the various personal computers of the 80's, Frontier was all set to take their hit franchise into the modern era of video gaming,...

Review Pitstop II (Virtual Console / Commodore 64)
Pitstop II is the first racing game that brings you the thrill of battling an opponent, the excitement of fighting for the lead out on the track and the suspense of struggling to be the first out of the pits.
Racing games, as a whole, haven't exactly aged as well as games from other genres over the years, but there's still something to be said for...
Review Samurai Shodown II (Virtual Console / Neo Geo)
First released in 1994, this fighting game follows 15 samurai in their individual quests.
Let's face it, the majority of SNKs existence is based around their unrelenting quest to come up with a fighting game for their system that could stand toe-to-toe with Capcom's immensely popular Street Fighter II arcade game. Samurai Shodown has the unique...
News Mega Man 9 - Flicker Included!
Capcom seems to be taking this trip down memory lane with their upcoming WiiWare Mega Man 9 game quite seriously. Not only will the game have 8-bit sound effects and visuals, but now Capcom is saying that this new Mega Man title will also have the same flicker that plagued many a game during the 8-bit era. About the only thing left for Capcom to do would be to require the player to jiggle the Wii Remote much the same way NES carts had to be jiggled to get the games to boot up on the loose contacts inside the NES cartridge slot. (We hope they don't take it quite that far, however)

News Official Potpourrii Trailer
Abstraction Games has released the official trailer for their upcoming WiiWare puzzler Potpourrii. While the video is fairly short, it at least gives some indication of how the game is played.

News Space Invaders Get Even To Come With Bargain Price Tag
It seems that there's more good news for Space Invaders fans inside the newest issue of Japanese game magazine Famitsu. According to several scans from the magazine, Space Invaders Get Even will only cost a paltry 500 Wii Points when it hits the WiiWare service. Of course there could be a catch to that. The magazine also confirms that there will be downloadable stages available that could cost you additional Wii Points. Despite this minor catch, 500 Wii Points is still a great deal for the basic game.

Review Frat Party Games: Pong Toss (WiiWare)
Is Pong Toss the life of the party, or just another sobering WiiWare experience?
Before we start, it's worth noting that Pong Toss began life as "Beer Pong" but due to worries about references to alcohol, developer JV Games opted for a more family-friendly name and removed all the naughty drinks as well. We're sure Nintendo and the ESRB...
Review Chase H.Q. (Virtual Console / TurboGrafx-16)
Let's go Mr. Driver!
Back in 1988 Taito released Chase HQ into arcades around the world. It took the driving aspects from many other racing games of the time period and coupled them together with the intense action of a high-speed police pursuit. While this offered a nice change of pace from the typical and often redundant racing experiences found...

Review Neo Turf Masters (Virtual Console / Neo Geo)
Golf in Neo Geo style.
There are basically two good golf games available for the Neo Geo. Top Player's Golf was released in 1990 and is a solid and playable golf game in and of itself, but Neo Turf Masters, which was released 6 years later, is clearly a much more refined and enjoyable golfing experience. The game features some very playable game...

Review Ninja Commando (Virtual Console / Neo Geo)
Ikari Warriors with ninjas - awesome!
Ninja Commando is often confused for Ninja Combat or even its sequel, but in fact, it's neither. Ninja Commando is basically an overheard run 'n gun game that feels a lot like the arcade classic Ikari Warriors at times, although it doesn't quite have the same level of playability. While the game is an earlier...
