As you might expect, there are a lot of references to Zelda: Breath of the Wild in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – it's hardly a massive shock, given that both are based on the same version of the Zelda universe.
However, Twitter user Alexander Trevino has spotted one of the most subtle references yet, and it takes place during the game's final cutscene. It sees Princess Zelda cooked up a recipe, and if you look closely, it's actually one you can create in Breath of the Wild: Enduring Monster Stew.

A reference to breath of the wild in a breath of the wild prequel game?!?!?
OH MY GOD!!!!!
@Funneefox I assume the reference is that, while it looks like she’s making a mess, it’s actually a functional, replicable recipe.
Rookie mistake, she's pouring the milk when she should just throw the whole bottle in the pot.
Broken glass is what makes it enduring.
Zelda has the best representation and characterization in Age of Calamity, she's arguably the main character of this game over Link. Ironic, because this is the one game in the series that does not bear her name.
…how have I not seen this cutscene? I’m pretty far into the game. Welp incentive to go play some more. Such a great game. My second most played this year.
@Ryu_Niiyama it’s part of the final reward for completing the DLC.
@Eel oh, haven’t gotten there yet. Grinding for rupees since playing Urbosa, Zelda and Impa all the time means everyone one else is under leveled.
I consider the game a reference in itself, but I should probably try the DLC. Thanks for the reminder
Isn’t the entire game based on Breath of the Wild?
This guy in the videos voice is so annoying. I never watch any of his crap due to it.
