Sorry if this question is kind of complicated but I will try so simplify it as best as I can. I own a Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, I have a Nintendo Network ID for both systems linked together. My girlfriend also owns a Nintendo Wii U and a 3DS and she also has a Nintendo Network ID linked for both systems. My question is. I want to use my Wii U as the main family console, because I am going to move in with her. Is it possible to delete or de-link her NIntendo Network ID from her Wii U, while still having it on her 3DS. Then... make a separate user account on my Wii U, with her Nintendo Network ID attached to it?
Again to simplify. I want me and her two have two separate Nintendo Network ID's for out 3DS. But on my Wii U I want to have me and her as two separate users on the Wii U, but still have our Nintendo Network Id's. Thank you in advance.
No, actually the Wii U can have multiple IDs linked to it, just with seperate users. My brother and I both have our NNIDs on his Wii U, as well as on our 3DSs. So it is possible to have two NNIDs on a Wii U and each one linked to a seperate 3DS, the issue is the transferring part. I know that deleting a NNID from one system deletes it from all linked systems, as well as actually deleting the NNID itself and all the linked purchases and stuff, so be careful. Your best bet would probably be to ask Nintendo's Tech Support, which is really good. Let us now how it turns out!

But I think he's trying to link both accounts with purchases into one, which is not possible
Current games: Everything on Switch
Switch Friend Code: SW-5075-7879-0008 | My Nintendo: LzWinky | Nintendo Network ID: LzWinky

Sounds to me like he wants two separate users each with its own NNID. We should probably wait for him to clarify before deciding though.
Yes I want two separate users on my Wii U with its own NNID. I don't really care if my GF looses games from her Wii U account. She only has Art Academy and Zelda HD. Which I also have (I'll get Zelda with the Mario Kart promotion). I have like... dozens of Eshop games for the Eshop and Wiiware service.

Thanks! This is what I wanted to know. The only thing I DON'T want, is for her to loose her Eshop 3DS games.
Now this brings up another question though... are the eshop accounts separated as well? Like if she logs into hers she still has a different balance from me... but... as long as we both download games on the same console... we can play them both on the same Wii U with any account?
Like we'll both have different balance on our NNID but games bought on the console can be played by anyone else linked on the console?
Well you can unlink her account, no problem, do not, under any circumstance delete it. Just unlink it, you have to wait a few days and then you should be able to link it to your WiiU. If you wanted to transfer any licenses over for Zelda or Art Academy then you need to call Nintendo. By unlinking it she won't lose here 3ds stuff either.
I would consider getting her games transferred too and using your free game on something else, just saying.
Well I already Mario U and I don't care to get Pikmin, or Wii Party U. I still benefit by getting some Club Nintendo coins and getting some points on my Digital Points Promotion for Zelda. I'm guessing she'll loose her save data for Zelda though.
So if she like... sells the WIi U. Will the other person still be able to play Zelda and Art Academy?

IMO, at least consider getting Pikmin 3 and 2 nunchucks. It's a fantastic game, and the 2-player battle and coop modes are really great fun!
I actually want the person that buys it to be able to play Zelda and Art Academy though. Also where is this Tool Kit icon?
If she looses Zelda I just want it so she can have the game again. Though I don't know what happens when you link the new ID. I mean If I Link her ID to mine, will I be able to download Zelda?! If I can then I'll get Pikmin 3 but if not I'll get Zelda to make up for her selling her Wii U.
Well I'm ok if if she looses her Wii U games or not. If She does then I'll get Wind Waker. If she doesn't then I get Pikmin 3! Either way looks like this will work. Thanks everyone in the room. I can't really test this out atm though. It's just kinda weird for us to have two WiiU's... and having to buy games for each one (Eshop games). Luckily she hasn't bought much yet. I have a large collection of digital content for the Wii U and Wii.
