Edit: I'm playing Smash 64 with my son at the moment. He's 8 years old, loves it. The music too. The character roster is a bit limited but we're having fun. He's getting better, learning to use shield, dodge, do grabs and use up B for extra air travel to get back to the platform. I thought I'd start him off with this because of the more relaxed pace. Later on he can 'graduate' to Melee, marvel of a game but quite intense and fast-paced. Looking forward to chaotic, party game 4-player battles with friends joining in.
