I'm a PC gamer that loves Dragon Quest. It's just too bad this game chose to be an MMORPG; I'm pretty much done playing those in their current form.
Well the game has an optional single player component, and like other MMO's the story content is pretty muc the same as a reguar RPG. You can get by pretty easily with just hiring out other player controlled characters and play it as close to a single player game as you can.
Still hoping for a localization.

Yea, but I'm not paying a monthly fee for a game that's an MMORPG just for the heck of it.

Completely agree. I'm crazy for Dragon Quest, but I don't want an MMO DQ, and there is no way that I'm going to pay a monthly fee.
Still puzzles me this or DQVII isn't being localized as the series started to gain traction in the west with XI, and with the Wii U at the state its in I could see the series doing well in the west.
