Nice! I must be crazy unlucky. Months of masuda only yielded one shiny.
@lordblackenhand I heard that the shiny charm actually helps. I'm not sure if tipping helps, but I'm able to tip 10,000 at the restaurant now. I dozed off shortly after I got home from work. I woke up a little after 12, and wasn't sure if you were still on. So I multitasked by totally dominating on Showdown on my phone while hatching between battles so I could stay online incase you hopped on. This shiny Squirtle is in part thanks to you. I wasn't planning on hatching originally.

You know, when I completed the national Dex this time I actually kept one of every pokemon and every evolution, So completing it in future games will be a cinch. That shiny charm seems to make a difference with chaining, hordes, safari etc, but still, Masuda is being stubborn for me. Would be cool if they introduced a mechanic like tipping that actually helped. Something extra for late gamers to spend their hordes of cash on.
