Anyone had a problem with a 3rd party controller unsyncing then being unable to connect at all? It's a jevogh pro type controller that has worked for 6 months but last week just stopped connecting and I now can't get it to sync at all.

@Sioneone I don't know if this will solve it, but with the Switch pro controller, you can plug it in with the usb cable to force it to sync. (If I take my pro controller to a friends, it won't sync with the new switch console until I've plugged it in. Once synced, it can be unplugged and played wireless like normal)

Troubleshooting a normal Switch pro controller or joycons, the first that's recommended, go into switch settings to make sure the controller is updated. I admit, I don't know if third party controllers need updating, but every once in a while, first party controllers get updates. In the end, if nothing gets it to work, it could mean hardware failure.

3rd party controller issue should look at the manufacture support site to see what they have for instructions for connections problems or repairs. NIN is not responsible if the 3rd party devices don't work on their system.
