Hi everyone,
Total newbie to Nintendo Switch. I have bought one for my son for Xmas. I have purchased the Starlink Starter Pack for him. I ordered the English version, but I've been sent the Dutch version, grr (we live in the Netherlands but speak English). What does that mean for him to play? Can I download the game in English and when he uses anything from this starter pack, it will switch to Dutch? How does it affect the game? Can he mix packs? What language will that be in??? So confused, 2020 is not a fabulous year for me to learn new technology, haha. Thanks for your advice.
@NicNak If I'm not mistaken it should be fine as it's not region locked. The language will default to the location set on the system itself. As far as the toys go....I'm not sure, but I'm thinking they'll be fine. With nothing else being region locked I can't imagine Ubisoft would've made the effort to lock the toys.
@NicNak I live in the Netherlands as well. Although I'm playing the digital copy, I can confirm that the language is set to the system language (English in my case). I expect that works the same for the physical version.
