@MarioVillager92@Octo-JellyFish For me, regarding the Barnacle & Dime map, being good with splat bombs can help, because of their range and lethality. Auto bombs are also good to flush the opposing team at choke points, or if they are spawn camping. Having these bombs can be especially clutch when you have a weak team that cannot splat the enemy. Having a good special weapon is loses it's worth if you're spawn camped and can't charge it.
I guess I'd say, getting spawn camped is often a result of a few reasons:
you have a weak team(newb kids)(It happens, at no fault of your own. Team matching is random-ish)
or the other team is super good (possibly partied up, possibly on coms)
or the other team has weapon range advantage (or strategy advantage).(If they had a brutal strategy advantage, that's a good opportunity to watch the replay from their point of view and learn.)
If my team ends up trapped at a choke point, or spawn camped, I often see it's because my team had mostly or all short range weapons, or had no bombs(or skill to use bombs). Suction bombs can help control an area, but for me, I have better success with quicker exploding splat bombs, or auto bombs flushing opponents out of an area.
@WoomyNNYes Good points, and some helpful tips. I usually use slower weapons (Splatana Wiper/ Dynamo Roller) against faster ones (Sploosh-O-Matic) so that may be a bit part of the problem. Need to work on my strategies. Thanks 😊

@Octo-JellyFish Yes, I did, but only because we were already leading, and we spent the rest of the game squid partying. (As a side note, I am not a Clash player, I just used it to match a friend, and he ended up DCing lol!)
This weekend’s Salmon Run is all Grizzco Weapons at Bonerattle Arena! I knew it would be in May. I’ve already long had the gold stage badge, but this is the perfect time to go for it. I think I’ll still play long enough to reach Hazard Level MAX again.
@Maxz Thanks! Yeah that doesn't make sense to me either, kinda weird that they worded it like that. It should just say "5 wins." I may have to do the rank-up battle before this season ends, since the game says I can enter one.
@WoomyNNYes To be fair, I may need to use my sub weapon more often. Including the splat bomb that you've mentioned. I've gotten decent with that one, since I would throw it on the ground to make it explode quicker. Thanks for your help!
@Octo-JellyFish I don’t know yet about my overall favorite, but my top five in no particular order would be:
1. Crableg Capital
2. Hammerhead Bridge
3. Undertow Spillway
4. Barnacle & Dime (Yes, really. I know it gets hated on like earlier in this thread, but it’s actually my favorite Tetris block map. I love shopping malls. Sure, it’s almost impossible to make a comeback late in the match if you’re spawn camped, but it rewards my aggressive play style. I usually play well there.)
5. Sturgeon Shipyard
If excluding old stages, I’d say it would be Crableg, Undertow, B&D, Hagglefish, and Um’ami.
