Hey everyone. I got a switch today. I've updated to the new firmware and also updated my controllers. I've noticed when I click on the controller menu, underneath where it says update controller it says "Update connected controllers"
"Some controllers cannot be updated".
Not sure if I'm being stupid, but is that a general statement regarding the fact that some controllers, I'm guessing 3rd party ones are unable to receive updates, or is it telling me that one of my joycons cannot be updated? If someone could check their own menu for me I'd appreciate it as I can't find a single thing about this online.
That message will always be there as a reminder that some controllers such as the Gamecube, Pokeball, and 3rd party controllers (I don't have a 3rd party controller so this is just my guess) can't be updated. If you already updated your controllers, then you'll be able to update them again once another update revs up for them.
