Anyone want to get some multiplayer matches going in Pure Pool?

Finding the current system of setting up and inviting random people to a league isn’t and never will really work.

Just want to find a few people up for regular or semi-regular sessions to knock some balls around!

Anyone interested?

I can rarely find anyone online, sadly.

I did get an invite to join someone's league, which I accepted, but then nothing happened so gawd knows how that works.

No idea how it’s meant to work. The menus are not all that understandable and the inviting seems to do nothing. I have never had an invitation popup and suppose even if I did you would have to be actively IN the game (with it open) to know about it, so can’t really see it working for larger groups without some organised time to “meet”. Unlikely!!

I’ve hit a bit of a wall in terms of difficulty in the career mode now. Can’t beat Tyler on page 1 of Pro. See that I can move to page 2 anyway (will try some games there tomorrow) but it’s like hitting my head on a wall coz Tyler just clears up!

There is like a double-whammy increase in difficulty in the Pro tournaments. Opponent rarely misses and they can line up shots that for me would actually be off camera.

Also the lack of the targeting line at the same time as opponents getting so much stronger is too much. The yellow line for target ball direction is so short that it’s usually totally hidden by the ball at medium range so on Switch screen it’s really hard to get those precise alignments.

Sure it’s possible with practice (fine by me) but wish it didn’t get quite so hard so soon in the single player mode.

They should have made first step of difficult ramp up to have the less line length but easier opponents at least in the earlier parts of Pro league. Or harder opponents but a bit more length to the line assist (especially keeping the cone narrower on angled shots). Balancing seems off. Too sudden to get this hard! Oh well.

So how would we arrange a game or 2? I’m normally available in evenings (UK time after 10.30pm).

I wouldn't mind giving it a go sometime, only had a few practice games so far but up for a match or two (I'm in the UK too)
