Topic: Obnoxious loud hd rumble

I'm having this problem since I played Splatoon 2 for the first time (just as it came out). My joy cons would make the most obnoxiously loud rumble noise.

Am I the only one with these loud joy-cons? I already send them for repairs and they said that they replaced them. Problem still exists. Already opened them to see if there where some loose cables or something, but nothing that I could see at first glance. Would putting some electrical tape on the rumble components help? Or is there something else I could try.

In BOTW they are rather silent (on a level like you would expect), but you could still feel it pretty well. But you should hear them when playing Octopath Traveler and a door opens. Or any big effects with Mario Odyssey or The Mummy Demastered.

My pro controller is also very loud when I play Super Mario Odyssey

I can barely hear it when mine rumble. Sounds like you have something loose in your controller.
