Anyone know why a Nintendo switch would say 100% while on the charger but when you take it off it goes to 3% within 10 minutes then dies? Never had any issues with it before and it’s the last switch i bought out of 3 and is only a little over a year old.

@Elvenprincess83 I thought I recalled seeing a mention of an % battery display error in Nintendo support. But, my fist guess is, the battery sounds bad.
@Snatcher nope nothing different it’s not used too often but my fiancée plays it on occasion like maybe once or twice a week and it’s been fine until the other day

Important: As with most lithium-ion batteries, the system battery life will gradually decrease over time. After about 800 charge cycles, the system battery life will decrease to about 80% compared to the battery on a new system. This is normal and does not represent an issue with the system or with the battery.
