I don’t share my wishlist at all usually, as like Eel said they’d probably think I’m asking for a gift.
Though nothing is stopping me from sharing my wishlist with random people on the internet sooo…

No? I don't see why people would care much, or they would think I'm asking for something free (which I wouldn't do).
And if I'm honest, not every game on my wishlist is an absolute must buy. It usually means that it caught my interest to some degree. The eShop itself is a mess so I curate my own corner of it 🤷♂️
Wishilst is for one thing and one thing only - to add games and wait until they are on a heavy discount. Or to keep them in a weird "maybe will buy" state, even though they already cost peanuts but you don't want to put more garbage on your account
I have 368 games on my wishlist and there is no way to sort the list, so no way would anyone else want to look at that mess. 😛
Also, I have no friends or family who own a Switch. Sometimes friends or family will play with me on my Switch, but they don't know enough about Switch games to be anything but confused by the wishlist even if it were saner.
@Princess_Lilly Precisely. I have wishlist games I definitely will buy if they are ever like 75% off and other games I just stare at even when they're on sale for $4 and am like 'well, I'll just not decide until it's even cheaper'.
and there is no way to sort the list, so no way would anyone else want to look at that mess.
On DekuDeals you can put comments on games in your wishlist, or make multiple customized lists.
You can specify if you only want a game sale alert to trigger if it's physical (I do that for large file size games, it gets sales from all the big online retailers). You can choose for each game what % or $ value a sale you're looking for before being alerted. You can sort by Discount %, Discount Amount, MetaCritic score, Game length, by Most Owned games by other DekuDeals users, etc.
I don't, even though people know I love my switch games. I'd raher receive a gift card, this way I can maximize those funds and buy the games months later at a sale. I would die inside if someone would get me a digital code for a specific game for the full price, if I know this game will be on sale in a couple of months anyway.
Well, I guess I need to work on my English because I wasn't asking to see anyone's wishlist
I was just curious if people share theirs with others or would if Nintendo made it easy somehow.
Your English is perfect. I think sharing their wishlist was just a very direct way a couple people answered the title question 'do you ever share your wishlist'.
Personally I wish Nintendo made the wishlist a bit better in general whether for sharing or just using.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,252 games (as of April 30th, 2024)
