Just curious, if I sold my Nintendo Switch for the time being and bought one again in a few months time would I lose my digital games I purchased? Sorry if that sounds dumb I just want to make sure that if I were to buy a new switch all my purchased games would be on it?
Thanks in advance
@Peace-Boy thankyou
I’m ok with losing the save data it’s just that I have about 80 or so digital games I don’t want to lose.
Unfortunately I need the money to help someone and truth be told I’m barely playing it anymore, the games I want are not released yet so I figured I could sell it and get another round near Xmas.
I’m sure by then there will be a lot more added to it also, so thanks so much for the answer!
@Deathwalka I'm probably stating the obvious but before you sell your Switch make sure you deactivate your Nintendo Account on it. You'll then be able to reactivate your account on a new Switch.
As you're not planning on getting a new Switch for another eight months or so, I suggest you make a note of your current Switch's serial number, your account and the games you have purchased - just as a precaution in case you get any errors trying to reactivate your account and need to contact Nintendo.
@Monkey_Balls that’s awesome thankyou I never thought of that
Tbf il probably get one within the next 4 months
But that’s a great idea, il also keep all my Nintendo receipts via email in a folder just in case
Thanks for taking the time to give some advice
