Topic: Brand new left joy con moving to left by itself..

Hi,

I got new joy cons today as the old one drifted to the left.
The new ones do the same thing!
Ive tried calibrating, updating controller sw and using latest firmware.

Has anyone any idea what I do about this, Its really frustrating

@flurns Is it doing that at all times or just at certain times? I had a seemingly temporary 'drift' issue about 6 weeks ago, but it was only when in the home screen menus etc, and maybe the eshop. It didn't do it in game. Because of that I put it down to being a bug in the system and it hasn't done it for weeks now. I may have detached the joy-con once or twice when it was doing it, but other than that I didn't knowingly do anything to cure it.

@flurns If they are brand new, my first reaction is, return them asap, if possible. Maybe that is an unpopular answer, but lately I don't have the mental bandwidth. I already had two pro controllers get drift - after hundreds of hours on each. Opening & cleaning them didn't fix it. And replacing analog sticks isn't something I want to tackle. I know there are tutorials on youtube, though.

@gcunit Its in all menus, yes. Main menu and tried 3 different games
Its one of the new neon green joy cons which apparently fixes drift. Only thing i can think of is it must be what the joy con is connecting to but i've cleaned that with ethanol too.

Its strangely decided to start working properly now! I didnt do anything else..
