I couldn’t find a dedicated thread on the game, but seriously stuck at the moment.

At the 10:37 mark in this clip, you are supposed to go through the barrier but I can’t figure out how he’s able to do that.

Am I missing something?

@manicsounds I can't remember since I played at launch. Maybe you need another power up that you're missing to do so? Have you tried progressing elsewhere? I had a lot of trouble with the traversal of this game over the previous two. It was alot tougher and I think I even watched that guy's let's play to get through alot of it.

Figured it out. There was a boss I completely passed for some reason and I had to go back to Jennifer to receive the upgrade to pass through the barriers.
Thankful for the fast travel system.

@manicsounds nice good stuff. It's a good game, but I like the others a little more. Especially 2.

@NinChocolate I played them all at launch so it's been a bit. But I recall 2 really upping the ante with abilities and gameplay. 3 is good, but a little easy to get lost. 1 was great as well.

@NintendoByNature that’s good information. I’m enjoying the first one. Playing through it slowly here and there. I’ll at least look to play 2 down the line at some point.

@NinChocolate grab em while they're on sale. Or at least they were recently on sale. They're enjoyable and its really dope its an entire trilogy.

@NintendoByNature you know, I had the Wii Ware version years ago but these Zero games seem so much better, at least the first once does so far

"3" may be easy to get lost, but as long as you know how to read the map and look for the flashing locations which tell you where to go, there shouldn't be too much of a problem later on, especially with warping at checkpoints.

Finished the game with the "good" ending where the final bosses (won't spoil but the game connects Zero 1, 2, 3 and the original "MetaFight" game together very well) were very challenging.
