I want to change my nintendo switch account for a new one. My concern is about my Animal Crossing New Horizons game. Is it installed on my switch no matter what or if I change my account I would lose my game?
Your saves are installed on your account by default, so yeah, if you use another account you lose that save. I think there was an option to transfer those save files to another account though

@Martis I'm not sure what you mean by "change accounts". You can only make new ones. If you wanted a second Animal Crosing account with cloud save backup, you'll need another Nintendo Switch Online account, and another email address (different than your current email address). So, you buy anther Nintendo Switch Online subscription (people usually buy the NSO family account, allows at least 8 accounts)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons does not support the ability to transfer your save file from one Nintendo Switch system to another at this time. We currently plan on adding a save data transfer feature later in the year. Information on the feature and timing will be announced at a future time, so please check Nintendo.com for more details as they become available.
