So i bought a wii u basic edition with external hard drive with it(western digital 500gb)so i connected it to the wii u and everything went ok so i downloaded some game but after i tried to launch it my game pad turned off and there was a message on the screen that was saying there was a problem with the hard drive that i unplugged it(and obliviously i didnt unplug it)and was saying something with the hard drive doesnt get enough power..i don't remember the full message ..but after it happened i checked with my second Transcend hdd and my wii didn't even recognize it...i read on the net that i need some Y cable or something like that is that true?what i did was i plugged my hdd with the usb that came with it that's all
can anyone help me with this problem pls?
