Topic: Wii U constantly dropping wifi connection

Hi guys,

I got a Wii U at Christmas and im having an absolute nightmare getting it connected to my router and keeping it connected.

Ive been through the usual methods of manually setting my IP and DNS and that will get me connected to the router and internet and when I do a connection test its passing.... however!

I cant do any system updates as its giving me a 105-4011 error, i also cant create a NNID as it brings up an error there too!

I have been into my router configuration and when i refresh the Wii U details its constantly going from:-

0 Mbps - Not Currently Connected
0 Mbps - Not Currently Connected
24Mbps - Currently Connected
1Mbps - Currently Connected
0 Mbps - Not Currently Connected
0 Mbps - Not Currently Connected

I have also tried Changing from WPA/PSK - WPA/PSK2 - WEP and also switching channels on the router to no avail...same thing

So its obviously having a problem connecting and staying connected to the wireless and that's what's causing the errors when i try to update!

I was just wondering if anyone here knew of any similar issues or had any useful advice for me? It looks like am going to have to fork out for a USB Ethernet adapter but i would rather not as everything else works on the wifi perfectly.
