Profile Page Issue: PNG Images - Help & Troubleshooting Forum

So after changing my profile image to a PNG file (For the fanciness effect)
It pretty swiftly came to my attention that the transparent pixels get filled in with Black on my actual profile page.
And as far as I'm aware, this doesn't occur anywhere else on the site,

So I suppose I'm merely wondering,
Is it possible this slight glitch/bug is able to be fixed somehow?
